What this is
This website is published by Oregon Nuclear Generating Company for the people of the South Coast, its customers, its neighbors and anyone curious about how the station works. It is offered as it stands, for information, and the company works to keep it accurate and current.
Nothing here is an instruction in an emergency
In an emergency the instructions that count are the county's, carried by the sirens, by KGAJ 26 and KGAJ 92.7 FM and by the county's alerts. This website explains the plan; it does not run it.
Using the site
You may read, print and link to any public page. The photographs and drawings are the company's and may be reused for news reporting and teaching with a credit to Oregon Nuclear; ask the Communications & Community office for anything else. The Operations Portal is for plant staff only, and attempting to enter it without authorization is unlawful and is logged.
Accuracy
Figures on this website are rounded and described in words where a number would date. The plant's licensed limits, the regulators' reports and the environmental program's annual report are the records of account, and copies are kept at the visitor center.
